Lawrence joined St. George's parish in 2000 and has been an avid contributor to the parish since his arrival. He's held the positions of Administrant and Stewardship Coordinator, and he's been a Parish Council Member for over ten years. He's a keen volunteer for several of St. George's programs, including Men's Breakfast, the Rainbow Kitchen, the Spring Fling, and the Christmas Fair. He is currently St. George's Treasurer, a role to which he brings great experience. Having spent a 30-year career managing high-end restaurants, hotels and private golf clubs, Lawrence is well-versed in the financial and budgetary needs of any organization, and he's contributed to St. George's financial health since taking the position. He has been an aide to the success of St. George's Hall Kitchen Renovation in 2013 and to the Narthex Redevelopment Project over 2014/15. Lawrence and his wife have two grown children and two grand-dogs, and they enjoy the outdoors, food, and entertaining friends.
