After living and working in Ottawa and Africa with an international development NGO for several years, John became a “mid-life” MBA student at UVic in 1994, at which point he started attending St. George’s. He has been a Parish Council member and Warden in the past, and was also Chair of the Social Justice and Outreach Team for several years. Now retired as an associate director and instructor at UVic’s Gustavson School of Business, he took up the Warden role again in March, 2023. John and his wife, Julie, like living in Fairfield with their two dogs and enjoy occasional international travel.
