We were very lucky to have Dr. Kelli Stajduhar come speak to the parish on the topic of Palliative Care as part of our Wonderful Wednesdays Lecture Series on October 31. Dr. Stajduhar discussed how Palliative Care helps individuals at every stage of chronic, life-threatening illnesses live with dignity, comfort, and hope, by taking a whole-person approach, addressing physical, psycho-social and spiritual needs, and prioritizing quality of life and the relief of suffering.
