Paul Schumacher to act as interim priest-in-charge, Church of the Advent

On June 1 we announced that the Rev. Sandra Hounsell-Drover had resigned as incumbent at Church of the Advent, Colwood but at that time her final day in the parish had not been confirmed.

Canadian Forces has now confirmed that Sandra and her family will depart on August 2.

The Rev. Paul Schumacher has accepted the appointment as interim priest-in-charge at Church of the Advent, effective August 1, 2020.

Please pray for Sandra and her family as they prepare to move to Ontario, and for Paul and Lynn as Paul redefines his role at Church of the Advent and leads them through this transition.
