Look out for an email from her requesting that you update your training at one of our upcoming workshops which will be held at St. Luke's Church Hall, 3821 Cedar Hill Cross Road:
Monday April 1, 2019 at 9am-12noon, or
Saturday April 13, 2019 at 9am-12noon.
To register, please phone St. Luke’s Church office (250-477-6741) or email st.lukes@shaw.ca providing your name, your parish, and a contact email or phone number. Registration closes Wednesday, March 27th (for the April 1st workshop) and Wednesday, April 10th (for the April 13th workshop) or once 32 people have registered for each workshop.

The SafeChurch program provides training to help ensure our churches are places of safety from the harm of misconduct that can occur in situations when there is an imbalance of power. All our clergy, staff, and volunteers are asked to take the SafeChurch training program in order to ensure our parish is a place of wholeness for those who come to us seeking the love of Christ. All our staff and volunteers who work with vulnerable persons, such as children, folks with disabilities, or the very elderly, are required to recertify their SafeChurch training every five years.
