New Incumbent Announced!
It's official! We are excited to share that we have a new incumbent joining us in October. Please see Bishop Anna's announcement letter available for download at the bottom of this page.
Rev. Christine Conkin comes to us after serving for 7 years at St. Andrew's Church in Calgary. She has an impressive resume which includes leading and teaching at the Wisdom Center and Sorrento on various topics which align with our latest Parish Profile. She also has been involved in Youth, Synod events, and National Advisory Boards. She is involved in Community building, including a leadership role with Calgary Alliance for the Common Good.
Your Search Team was impressed by her written submissions, responses to questions during a Zoom interview, and an informal gathering onsite where she posed thought provoking questions to challenge us. She has a collaborative leadership style with excellent listening skills. We look forward to our journey together.
