Taizé Prayer at St Philip is renewed and a loved tradition returns monthly! All are welcome to St Philip Oak Bay for a candlelit service of song, silence, and contemplation, in the style of the Taizé Community, on the 4th Thursdays of the month at 7pm, starting in late September 2024:

Calling experienced singers:
Judith Slimmon (our music director for Taizé Prayer) and the existing Taizé ensemble at St Philip would like to invite you to join them in singing this beautiful, prayerful SATB music. It is helpful if you can sight-read music and hold one part while others are singing different parts. They are easy melodies to learn. There will be one or two rehearsals prior to the September service and one rehearsal before each of the following services. All parts are welcome!
