There Is Room is an exciting new chamber ensemble that brings hospitality and welcome to audiences across Canada. Through diverse programming of classical favourites, hidden gems, and beloved pop tunes, the group makes space for everyone — in the audience and on the concert stage.
Comprised of UVic School of Music alumnae, Lindsey Herle (violin) and Elizabeth Clarke (piano), the duo’s debut concert, Encounters, is designed to introduce music lovers to a variety of hidden gems that they may not have experienced before. Audiences are warmly invited to come and “meet” these works, presented alongside beloved favourites, and to share in the joy of both familiarity and discovery.
